CONSUMER ADVOCACY
In 1997, MBNA formed a Consumer Advocacy Committee to examine consumer issues as they relate to the memorialization industry. They also hired Carolyn Jacobi, Founder of Eternal Justice, to work with individual members and their customers, and to also make them aware of their rights and choices in memorializing family and friends.
Through our Consumer Advocacy Program, MBNA seeks to expose illegal and obstructive practices that prevent consumers from exercising their freedom of choice in memorialization. MBNA and Ms. Jacobi hope to provide members with guidance through education.
MBNA commented on the Funeral Rule Review 16CFR Part 453. For a copy, click here.
